Bala Cynwyd explores The Woodlands after dark

The Woodlands is a Bala Cynwyd area National Historic Landmark District, and a late summer evening will give the public an opportunity to get to know the nature that calls the venue home.

Even in an urban setting, wildlife finds a way, and Nature Night at the Woodlands will be an in-person exploration of how the venue provides habitat for an assortment of plants and animals. The activity will have a runtime of three hours, and an alternative date has been set in case the weather is unsuitable.

The plans for the evening include a story time, and everyone will have the chance to make observations and find out how they can become citizen scientists. A nature walk is in the works. Thanks to financial support from Oliver H. Bair Co., no registration fee is being charged, although financial contributions for The Woodlands will be greatly appreciated.

Summer nature walks and other activities that take place outdoors can take full advantage of the season. Basic field guides and species checklists distributed along with promotional Pens can all be prepared by a brochure printing company.

This Bala Cynwyd area outing will be on offer on Wednesday, August 26, with the following evening set aside as a rain date. It will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 4000 Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia.
