Every day, volunteer emergency medical technicians and firefighters help keep Bala Cynwyd and the surrounding areas safe, and a local activity will help fund their post-secondary goals.
In September, The Main Line Chamber of Commerce will present the 29th annual Main Line Run/Walk. The Presenting Sponsor for the activity is the Haverford Trust Company, and it will provide a way for the public to give these first responders a tip of the hat for all they do.
The funding and awareness raiser tends to draw a crowd that tops 400, with various ways to get involved. Those interested can choose to register to run or walk, and an assortment of volunteer positions will need to be filled. A sponsorship program is in place as well.
Along with the walk and run, the festivities will include a Health and Fitness Expo, and many of the vendors will be distributing information and Promotional Products to the crowd. There will be firetrucks on site for guests to see up close.
The 2026 Main Line Run and Walk will be held at The Main Line Chamber of Commerce on September 14th. It is located at 165 Stafford Avenue in Wayne, and anyone needing more information can consult its website for the most current details.
