Bala Cynwyd plans puzzle competition

Bala Cynwyd’s puzzle fans may want to be part of an activity that will put their skills to the test.

The Bala Cynwyd branch of the Lower Merion Library System is set to host its 2nd annual Speed Puzzle Race, and both adults and families can take part. They will compete in teams of four, and the event will run for two hours.

The participants will be using their talents to put together 300 piece jigsaw puzzles, vying against other teams to see who can get the top time. The three fastest will each receive a prize, and the puzzles used for the competition will be supplied by Ravensburger. To help the organizers plan for the day, advance regulation is required, but only one member of each group needs to do so. The event will run for three hours, and when this was written, there were still spots available.

Libraries often serve as hubs for their community, offering a variety of special events for all ages and interests. They can count on local printers to supply them with any printing services they might require, and they will be able to accommodate most budgets.

This chance for Bala Cynwyd puzzle fans to show off their skills will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 3rd. The library system’s website includes a registration link as well as more details.
