Local autism nonprofit benefits from bank donation

The Center for Autism, which has its headquarters in Philadelphia, has recently received a donation of $50,000 from the Ambler Savings Bank.

This money will go towards funding treatment programs and evaluation services, and purchasing new therapeutic equipment.

The Center for Autism is a nonprofit treatment center that is the oldest in the country and provides evaluation and treatment to over 1,500 children and families in the region.

According to Roger Zacharia, President and Chief Executive Office of the bank, this donation is part of a partnership that the bank has had with the organization for many years. The bank considers the work of the organization to be instrumental to helping those afflicted with autism in the area.

The CEO of the Center, David Maola, added that the center will be better equipped to help the children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families because of this partnership.

A special check presentation ceremony was held in which Zacharia, Maola, chief development officer of the center Hale Peffall Jr., and chief financial officer Frank Wellock were present.

Most likely, the bank turned to a special Print company to Print the large check that was donated to the center by the bank for photo-taking opportunities.
