Temple University is hosting its 2nd Annual Empowering Nonprofits conference at its Ambler campus this spring.
The one-day conference will include opening and closing keynote addresses, breakout sessions and time to browse the vendor area. Vendors often give out Promotional Products and other marketing materials at this type of event. The opening speaker, PANO Executive Director Anne Gingerich, will discuss how to use data to illustrate an organization’s economic impact.
Breakout sessions will be organized into two rounds. During each round, attendees can choose whether to participate in one 90-minute extended session or two 45-minute mini sessions. These breakouts will cover a range of topics, including storytelling, leadership strategies, addressing unconscious bias, grant applications and self-care practices. Attendees will receive a digital snapshot guide after the event that provides highlights and key takeaways from all of the sessions.
Attendees can register online now through April 10 for $250. This includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Coffee will also be available throughout the day. Continuing education credits will be available for Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE). Parking on campus is free, and Ambler is also accessible by public transit using a combination of SEPTA rail or buses and university shuttles. Directions are available on Temple University's website.
