The Ambler Arboretum is planning Ambler in Bloom, a garden lunch fundraiser, for this fall.
Ambler in Bloom: Rooted in the Elements is themed around four key components of plant life - roots, water, sun, and soil - and will offer interactive experiences with all of these. An acoustic guitar duo made up of an alumnus and a current student from Temple’s Boyer College of Music will perform. Guests can visit the interactive stations at their own pace. These will include soil leaf printing, making sun catchers with pressed flowers, planting bulbs, and watching a demonstration of bonsai shaping.
Online registration is open now for $100 per person. This includes lunch from a selection of food trucks and access to all of the interactive activities in the garden. Sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $5,000 are also available. Sponsors will be recognized on Signs and the event website, in addition to other tier-based benefits. Organizers often use Print shops to create signs for this type of event. The Arboretum’s director will lead a private tour of the Arboretum’s formal gardens for sponsors and their guests before the event begins.
Proceeds from the event will support the Arboretum, a botanical garden that offers free access to the public along with horticultural and environmental education programs.
Ambler in Bloom will be on Saturday, October 3, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Ambler Arboretum at Temple University’s Ambler campus.
