Ambler Chamber to gather for golf social

The Greater Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a golf and networking event this summer.

The event includes nine holes of golf and dinner, along with opportunities for non-golfers and those new to the sport to participate. It is intended to be a relaxed, non-competitive experience that allows attendees to connect and socialize.

Play begins with a shotgun start at 3:00 pm, and non-golfers can ride along in the golf cart. Beginners can sign up to receive professional instruction at the golf clinic, which will run from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, although participants are asked to arrive at 3:30 pm.

Drinks and appetizers will be served on the golf course. A networking cocktail hour and dinner will begin at 5:30 pm. This will include an open bar, pasta stations, and dessert. Attendees often exchange Business Cards during this type of networking event.

Registration is open on the Chamber’s website now. The cost is $139 per golfer, $65 per non-golfer, and $95 per clinic participant. All of these levels include cocktails and dinner. The event is open to both members and guests. The Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Ambler and other towns in Montgomery County.

Nine, Wine and Dine will be on Monday, August 31 from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham.
