Ambler is hosting its 29th annual Auto Show this May.
The “Best Little Car Show Around” will feature more than 200 modern and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. While the organizers intend to create a relaxed environment, there will be several awards presented. Vehicle owners can compete for best in show, top 30 and special awards with criteria set by the show’s major sponsors.
The event is free for spectators. Food trucks and other vendors will be available, and the list will be posted on Ambler Main Street’s website closer to the show date. Many local restaurants and stores will offer special promotions during the show. Businesses often use poster printing services to promote this type of short-term deal.
Participants interested in entering their vehicles can register online or by mail through April 17. The pre-registration fee is $20 and can be paid by check, PayPal or credit card. If space is available, same-day registration will open at noon for $25 per vehicle. Check-in for pre-registered participants will be open from 10 am to 12 pm, and those who arrive earliest will have the first choice of spaces. Vehicle owners are welcome to bring chairs as long as they do not block the sidewalk.
The Ambler Auto Show will take place on Sunday, May 17, from 1 pm to 6 pm.
