The Montco Gateway Chamber of Commerce is celebrating International Women’s Day with a lunchtime program this March.
The celebration will begin with mimosas and time for networking. Chamber of commerce members often exchange Business Cards during this type of networking session. The Women’s Marketplace will also be open during this time, featuring a variety of businesses led by women.
The program and lunch will start at noon with journalist Lu Ann Cahn as the emcee. There will be two keynote speakers. Dr. Laura Sicola, an author, speaker, and executive communication coach, will discuss the small changes that are most likely to turn a “no” into a “yes.” Track and field athlete and media personality Priscilla Loomis’s talk will be titled “Turning Obstacles into Opportunities.”
The event is open to both Chamber members and guests. The Gateway Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Ambler and other towns in eastern Montgomery County.
Tickets are available online now for $100 per person, increasing to $125 on March 1. Groups interested in booking a full table for eight should call the Chamber directly. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available, and interested businesses should call or email the Chamber.
The International Women’s Day Celebration will take place on Friday, March 6 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at The Manor House at Commonwealth in Horsham.
