Ambler chamber to host small business event

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County is hosting its 3rd Annual Minority and Small Business Summit this December.

The half-day event includes speakers, networking sessions and vendor and resource tables. This year’s theme is Unstoppable: Building Power, Partnership & Possibility. The event will start with a light breakfast and structured networking activities. Conference attendees often use business card printing services to prepare for networking sessions.

Montgomery County Board of Commissioners vice president Jamila H. Winder will give welcome remarks. Donna Allie, the founder & CEO of Team Clean, Inc., will give the keynote address. The rest of the speaker lineup is available on the registration page. Topics will include strategies for receiving grant funds, ways to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools for success, how legislative changes might affect growth opportunities and how to use partnerships and networking to make an organization more visible.

Attendees can sign up on the Chamber’s website. The cost is $20 per person, which includes breakfast. The summit is open to both Chamber members and guests. The Greater Montgomery County Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Ambler and other towns in the region. Detailed directions to the venue are available on the Chamber’s website.

The summit will take place on Friday, December 5, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm in College Hall at Montgomery County Community College.
