Ambler Chamber to host talk and networking event

The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event focused on insurance for small business owners this summer.

Business Builders: Are You Functionally Uninsured? will include a speaker, appetizers and time for networking. Matt Simpson, a Senior Benefits Consultant at Corporate Synergies and active Chamber member, will give the talk. In his role, he works with businesses on their healthcare strategies. He will discuss the challenges individuals and small businesses face in choosing affordable health insurance plans and provide concrete suggestions for how to offer employees appropriate coverage at a reasonable price.

The organizers hope to create a relaxed, casual environment that leads to valuable connections. Chamber members often exchange Business Cards during the networking portion of this type of event. Light bites, including mini tacos, wings, potato skins, pierogis and pizza, will be served. The event does not include a full dinner.

Those planning to attend can sign up on the Chamber’s website. Tickets are $20 for members and $30 for guests. The Montgomery County Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Ambler and other towns across the county. Tickets do not include access to the venue’s arcade or bowling areas.

The Business Builders event will take place on Wednesday, August 13 from 5:15 pm to 7:30 pm at the Deadwood Deck at Our Town Alley in East Norriton.
