Northwest Portland to be location for second Ranch Pizza
The once pop-up pizzeria that upgraded to a brick-and-mortar location, Ranch Pizza, will be opening an additional location in Northwest Portland.
The new pizzeria location will serve the same square-cut pies and home-made ranch dressing as the original, as well as a handful of neighborhood-specific pies. The small space of the new location, a former bicycle shop in proximity to Bantam Tavern, is another similarity to the first Ranch Pizza’s current location.
Banner printing provides a means of announcing the opening of a new business, or the transformation an existing one into a different style of operation.
Among The Oregonian’s 2018 10 favorite new eateries, Ranch began as a delivery-only pizzeria, and was located in the beermuda triangle of bars at 12th Avenue and Southeast Division Street featuring Sicilian-style pies. In 2018, Ranch turned itself into an indoor operation by taking over the kitchen at Poison’s Rainbow, the hopping bar owned by Isaac Brock of rock band Modest Mouse. From there, Ranch opened its own establishment in a Woodlawn neighborhood.
The company has nonchalantly considered expanding but did not seriously consider it until a pop-up slice event they participated in at World Foods. Surprised by how many people had not heard of them, the decision to expand was made. The opening of the second Pizza Ranch is tentatively set for October 15.
