Waterfront Blues Festival enters 39th year

Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival is celebrating its 39th year for three days over the 4th of July weekend.

From July 2-4, thousands of music lovers will eat, drink, and of course, dance at Tom McCall Waterfront Park overlooking the Willamette River.

This year's lineup includes more than 100 acts across three stages, blues river cruises, and fireworks displays. Some of the most anticipated acts include The Revivalists, Glitterfox, Durand Jones & The Indications, Hailu Mergia, and many more. Those interested in attending can find a full list of performers on the festival's website.

There will also be plenty of vendors selling a wide range of merchandise. Vendors and event organizers for festivals like this can enlist the services of Print shops to create themed products and advertisements.

In addition to merchandise vendors, a variety of food and drinks will be available, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Those wishing to purchase beer, wine, or spirits need to have a valid ID. Outside food and drink is not permitted, with the exception of factory-sealed water bottles or empty reusable ones. Accommodations can also be made for those needing them. Organizers recommend emailing in advance to set up said accommodations.

The Waterfront Blues Festival takes place July 2-4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm each day. Music will begin an hour after gates open at noon. VIP pass holders can enter a half-hour before regular ticket holders. More information is available on the festival's website.
