Portlands annual Lego event scheduled for May

Portland’s annual Bricks Cascade, which is the city’s foremost public Lego event, is right around the corner in early May.

Held at the Oregon Convention Center, Bricks Cascade is an annual family-friendly event that will offer shopping opportunities with several specialty vendors on hand with unique, custom, and rare Lego-based products for sell. Named among the “best 50 events in Oregon,” The Oregonian stated:

“Portland’s big Lego convention is a whole lot of fun. From massive masterpieces to creative displays by both kids and adults, visitors get a chance to see the plastic bricks as not just a fun toy but a legitimate artistic medium.”

Banner printing services are invaluable for events, particularly those that take place in large venues.

Coming from across the Pacific Northwest and throughout the world, hundreds of Legp builders will put their creations on display. Visitors can speak with the builders of these creations and display their own designs using the colorful blocks on the Wall of Creation, as well as build a brick car and race it on the derby track.

Several Lego Masters contestants will be holding events at the convention, two of which will be open to the public. They will be available to explain about their experience as Lego Masters contestants, including the auditions and filming experiences.

The two-day event will take place at the Oregon Convention Center on May 2 and 3.
