The Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego will be holding as Art Decked In event in the next few days.
Art Decked In events showcase local artists in the Dee Denton Gallery and demonstrate the commitment of Lakewood to create a love for the arts with. A free monthly event series, Art Decked In is a way to meet others who enjoy the arts, speak directly with the artists, and make time for art every week.
This month’s event highlights searching for meaning and connection, and will feature Lisa Brinkman talking about Botanical Printing with Oil and Victoria Hammond on Recycled Collage. Their artwork will also be available for purchase. Attendees can sit around the fireplace and purchase light refreshments. There will also be live music by Danny and Anne Schauffler before and after the talks.
Poster printing can be used throughout a community and neighboring metropolitan areas to promote such special events.
The mission of the Lakewood Arts Center is to inspire and nurture a love of the arts and theater. Among its goals are to establish and maintain a permanent theatre and multi-arts facility, and to coordinate and sponsor cultural and educational programs in theater and visual arts.
This event will take place at the Lakewood Center for the Arts on S. State Street on Tuesday, January 9 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm.
