The Lake Oswego Ski and Snowboard Swap and Sale, which will benefit the ski teams of Lakeridge and Lake Oswego High Schools, will be held for the 50th year this month.
The Swap and Sale will feature gently used snowboarding and ski gear, including both clothing and equipment, as well as new clothing and equipment from ski vendors and shops in the area. There will also be used and new equipment for recreational skiers and snowboarders, racers, and children at highly discounted prices.
Flyers often play a major role in letting the community know about such events and their fundraising efforts. Local Print shops can help in creating these materials.
Attending the Spa and Ski Sale costs $10 for a family or $5 for an individual, with children under the age of 12 at no charge. Proceeds from the event and its sales benefit the two teams by offsetting the costs for coaches, gear, and buses needed to participate in the ski race season.
Individuals can also sell their gear at the event. Gear can be dropped off at Lakeridge High School from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 8. They will get 60% off the sale price and the remaining 40% will go towards the two ski teams.
