Concerts, parties, and performances to come to Lake Oswego

Several events will be in Lake Oswego over the coming weeks.

The Lake Oswego Lions Club is currently collecting warm clothing for those in need at six locations throughout town, which are the three stations of the Fire Department, the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, the Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, and the Lake Oswego Public Library, Clothing will be donated to the Bethlehem House of Bread in Tigard, which will then pass it on to the community it serves. Clothing can be donated through Friday, December 8.

A guitar concert will be offered by William Jenks, founder of U.S. Classic Guitar at Christ Church Episcopal Parish, later this month. This show is part of a series to be presented through the beginning of June and will feature six well-known guitarists, including John Williams, the Romeros, and Sharon Isbin. The first concert will be on Thursday, November 16 at 7:30 pm.

A Holiday Kick-Off will be hosted by Kelly’s Jelly of Lake Oswego. There will be food, artisan vendors, and the chance to donate to With Love and Hunger Fighters of Oregon. This will also be held on Thursday, November 16 from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.
