Riparian-themed summer camp to be hosted in Bend

A Bend summer camp that combines learning with fun is accepting registrations for its “Mythic Merpeople” themed week, and it is on the agenda for Tumalo State Park.

Wildheart Nature School offers a variety of summer camp options, and it has dedicated one in early August to learning about water and the creatures that call it home This programming will be delivered by trained and vetted staff, and each child will be encouraged to explore.

The camp will use the mythology that surrounds merpeople, which is part of the cultural tradition in many different countries around the world. The kids will find out how different animals and plants survive at the water’s edge, and they will be encouraged to raise their voices in song as well. The activities will be suitable for children from ages five to eight, and the registration fee starts at $22 each.

Summer Camps can help to beat summer boredom, and they give kids a chance to have fun and make some new friends. T-shirts and other gear for a children’s camp can be prepared by printing services providers, which will be able to include any graphic design desired.

Wildheart Nature School will be running its Mythic Merpeople camp from August 1 to 5. Parents or guardians who would like to register their child can do so through its website.
