The High Desert Food & Farm Alliance (HDFFA) will once again be hosting its HDFFA Autumn Social to celebrate all that its members have accomplished through the past year.
The social will give members a chance to meet newcomers to the organization ,as well as socialize with current ones. Food for the evening will be prepared by a HDFFA chef, and there will be locally brewed beer, kombucha (fermented tea), and other non-alcoholic beverages as well.
There will also be a trivia challenges related to ranches and farms, and the winners of the Local Food Challenge photo contest will be announced. To mark the occasion, those who come out will also be able to obtain a discounted rate on their 2017 HDFFA membership. A banner printing company can be called upon to produce decorations and other printed materials for a function like this.
The evening is being offered free of charge to sponsors, partner members, and volunteers. For future partners and community members, the ticket price is $15 each. Donations to help support the organization’s initiatives are also gratefully accepted.
The HDFFA Autumn Social will take place on November 2, starting at 5:30 pm in Bend’s Aspen Hall. People who plan on taking part are asked to RSVP beforehand.
The function’s Eventbrite listing includes an opportunity to register, purchase tickets, or simply find out more about the event.
