A Bend company that offers the chance to experience the area’s wild side has access to a new piece of equipment that will allow those with mobility problems to get in on the fun, and it has scheduled an outing for mid-July.
The team at Wanderlust Tours would like to introduce a new wheelchair designed to tackle rugged environments, and it will be part of an excursion organized at Smith Rock. This is on offer thanks to a partnership with AdvenChair.
The activity will be guided by an experienced naturalist, and it will explore the trails and other spaces at Smith Rock State Park. Participants will be on the lookout for wildlife, and there will be plenty of photo ops. The booking fee for a group of four is $300, which includes the use of one AdvenChair.
