A Bend fundraiser is set to make its return, and these three days of high-flying fun will do a good turn for a local not-for-profit organization.
Saving Grace, which is a group that works to help prevent domestic violence, will be the beneficiary of the proceeds from this year’s Balloons Over Bend. Its schedule is packed with activities for the whole family, and there may even be an opportunity for the attendees to fly in one of these aircrafts by booking a ride ahead of time.
The festival will offer daytime launches with lots of colorful hot air balloons, while the night glows will light up the sky after dusk. The pilots may be on hand to meet with the public before or after take-off, and there will be other activities on the agenda as well.
The organizers of the celebration explained that it has been made possible thanks to the generosity of its sponsors and community partners. The 2021 Balloons Over Bend will be filling the skies with color from July 23 to July 25. Its planners explained that they will be updating the site with the latest details about the festivities.
