Bend to open April with community health fair
Living their best life is about to get a lot easier for Bend individuals and families alike, and a special guest will be on hand for a meet-and-greet with the young and the young at heart.
The Bend Health fair gives the public an opportunity to meet with a wide selection of service providers, and they can ask questions and learn more about what they have to offer. A raffle draw with lots of corporate gifts as prizes is on the agenda, and admission at the door is $5 for adults and free for kids age 12 and under.
Along with the healthcare providers, the function will boast a vendor area with lots of displays and booths manned by the area’s small business community. Anyone who would like a bite to eat or drink can purchase one on site, and to help keep the kids happy, the Easter Bunny will be on hand for a meet-and-greet and photo op. Easter baskets will be distributed as well.
A community celebration often attracts a large crowd. Companies that have a supply of professional crafted business cards prepared ahead of time will be able to take advantage of these events as they arise.
The largest health fair planned for Bend this year is taking place on Sunday, April 2. The Riverhouse Convention Center will welcome attendees starting at 9:00 am.
