The organizers of an annual car show that takes place in Bend have announced that it will be making its return in spring.
The area’s car show season will be kicking off with a local event being organized by Sounds Fast! On the day, 5th Street will be closed off for the occasion, as vehicles manufactured in or before 1989 are displayed.
The Wild Ride Classic Car Show is open to all, and prizes will be awarded to the vehicles in a variety of categories. Anyone who would like to purchase soda or beer will be able to do so, and in the afternoon, there will be an awards ceremony where the top entries will be recognized. Those who register ahead of time online will get some extra perks such as free Corporate Gifts and a drink ticket.
The planner of the gathering noted that T-Shirts have been prepared that feature a graphic design prepared for the show. These will only be made available for purchase online, and the proceeds from the function will be donated to the Redmond Senior Center. Admission to the public is free of charge.
The Wild Ride Classic Car Show will be rolling in to Wild Ride Brewery in Bend on April 23. The venue for the function will be 332 SW 5th Street.
