Bend gin fans will soon be able to sample a wide assortment of craft-style beverages when they join the fun of a special event planned for the city.
Oregon Spirit Distillers have issued an invitation to local gin fans to attend the Oregon Gin Festival, which will kick off the summer cocktail season. It will be held outdoors under cover, and is for those aged 21 and up only
Those who revere tickets for the occasion will be able to sample products distilled by at least 10 different companies, and there will be a mixing station where these can be utilized as the base for an assortment of breezy summer-style cocktails. A DJ will be supplying the music along with a live band, and food may be purchased as well. There will be other vendors on site, and everyone who buys a pass will receive eight drink tokens as well as a commemorative glass printed with a fun graphic design. Designated driver passes are also available, which include non-alcoholic drinks on the house. Pets will not be permitted.
This evening of discovering what Oregon distillers have to offer when it comes to craft gin will be cropping up in Bend on Saturday, June 8. The festivities will kick off at 4:00 pm at 640 Northeast 1st Street.
