Not even COVID-19 is enough to stop an annual Bend craft fair offering a wealth of gift buying choices, and shoppers are invited to check out its new online format.
The Locavore Holiday Gift Faire will once again be giving the public a venue where they can support local artists and makers, and both those who are new to the sale and former sellers are welcome to get involved. Since the market will be online, it will be a safe shopping experience, and the items ordered will be made available for pickup by the customers themselves.
The host of the event explained that it will be using a special software for the market, and the proceeds will benefit area food banks and other grassroots initiatives. It went on to point out that high-quality photos of the items on offer can boost sales, and its staff may even be able to help create pictures that will successfully market the products being sold.
One of the keys to ensuring that this sort of fundraiser will meet its goals is to promote it throughout the local area. A poster printing company will be able to lend a hand with this.
This year's Holiday Gift Faire will be making the season a bit more jolly for Bend starting on November 23. Its website includes details for both buyers and sellers alike.
