Bend gathering to celebrate efforts of local environmental group
A celebration is on the way for Bend, and it will recognize the work done by the Oregon Natural Dessert Association throughout the year. Everyone is encouraged to attend the function, and it will include lots of fun and a chance to discover the organization's plans for the future.
This festive occasion, which is slated to be held in Hollinshead Barn, will showcase what the group has done during the past 12 months in stewardship of the local environment. Details will be shared about the organization’s efforts in areas such as habitat restoration, advocacy and education, and this “business” side of the function will be blended with a variety of fun activities and entertainment.
To help create an exciting atmosphere during this celebration, entertainment will be provided by Honey Don’t, and a selection of small bites will be supplied courtesy of Spork, Sunriver Brewing, Crater Lake Spirits and Caboost kombucha. The logo design of these enterprises, as well as the other companies that have chosen to sponsor the event, are included in its online listing and other marketing materials.
In addition to the details about the activities undertaken by the event’s hosts, entertainment, food, beverages and other fun that’s on the agenda for the function, there will also be a raffle draw for an assortment of prizes. More details about this are available to the public on the Oregon Natural Desert Association website.
This year’s High Dessert Hootenanny will be celebrating area environmental stewardship on Friday, December 6. It is scheduled to begin welcoming guests at 5:00 pm.
