Bend festival set to bring late summer fun

A Bend festival will celebrate some of the region’s best barrel aged whiskeys, ciders and beers, and to local foodies, one of the best parts of the event may be that they’ll have a chance to sample it all.

Makers of these barrel aged beverages will be arriving for the annual Little Woody Festival, which is a two-day long recognition of the talents of area small batch brewers, distilleries and cideries. It will be a relaxed and casual affair, and one of the days will be a family friendly occasion.

Those who attend the festival will be invited to relax and enjoy some live musical performances, and a full lineup has been booked for the weekend. They can also learn more about barrel aging and what makes it special.

The organizers of the festival will once again be offering their Big Token program. Those who purchase one of these will be able to fill their choice of growler with any of the beer left on tap. A variety of merchandise will be available for purchase as well, and many of these corporate gifts will be printed with the function’s name and logo design.

This casual late summer celebration will be welcoming the world on July 28th and 29th. More details about this event, which will be taking place at the Deschutes Historical Museum, is available on its website.
