Bend fair to focus on health and wellness

The arrival of COVID-19 has meant that many events have had to be postponed, and one that was originally scheduled to be on offer in Bend this October will now be held this coming spring instead.

The ‘For the Health of It’ wellness fair, which is an initiative of the Bend Parks and Recreation District, will be both educational and fun. It will be focused on older adults, and more than 50 different community agencies will be taking part with speakers, health screenings, tours, and even a free lunch all on the agenda.

While this event may have moved to a later date, the good news is that this means there will be more time for additional sponsors and vendors to join in the fun. Applications to do so will be available starting in January 2021, and anyone who would like to learn more about the activity can contact the organizers at (541)-706-6232.

A community gathering like this often presents a valuable opportunity for area vendors. If they have promotional Pens and other small items to give away to the crowd, they will be able to make an even bigger impact, and these can be sourced from area printers.

The fair is tentatively planned for May of 2021. The Bend Park and recreation district website will have the most up-to-date details about the day.
