Stained glass can be used to craft colorful holiday ornaments, and a Bend class that is geared toward all skill levels will be offered in November.
The workshop, which will teach the basics of working with stained glass, will give those who participate a chance to flex their creative muscles. There will be a variety of design ideas to choose from, and they can be customized by the individual registrants.
The class will run for three hours, and all of the materials and instruction will be provided. Each attendee will be able to make up to five ornaments to take home, and they can keep them or choose to use them as holiday gifts. While no previous experience is needed, the session is only open to those who are at least16 years of age. It is just one of the holiday themed crafting classes that will be taking place at DIYcave this year.
Taking part in a workshop or class can be a fun way for adults to pick up some new skills, meet people and have fun. Marketing events may be made a lot easier by working with a local flyer printing company.
DIYcave has made plans to offer its stained glass ornament workshop November 25th. It will begin at 2:00 pm, and the venue can be found at 444 SE 9th Street.
