Being a member of a chamber of commerce goes hand in hand with a variety of perks, and a workshop will introduce these to Bend businesses.
Members of the city's corporate community are welcome to take a seat for the Bend Chamber 101 activity, and both current, new, and potential members are strongly encouraged to attend. They are reminded to stop by a business card printing company in advance so they will have plenty to exchange at this mid-morning meeting.
The function will offer an introduction to the benefits of Chamber membership. The presenter will discuss how it engages in advocacy and networking activities, and also how it offers training opportunities for professional development. Every attendee will have a chance to introduce themselves and their company.
Business groups give the corporate community of a city or town an opportunity to connect and support one another in a positive atmosphere. A brochure printing company can prepare materials outlining the benefits of membership in such an organization, as well as reminders of when meetings take place.
The Bend Chamber of Commerce is preparing for this meeting, which will be held on November 8. It will take place in the Bend Chamber conference room located at 1567 Chandler Avenue. Those who are interested have been asked to send an advance RSVP to shelley@bendchamber.org.
