Bend and the surrounding areas boast an extensive cave system, and a group of community service organizations have teamed up to give them a good spring clean.
Helping hands are being sought for this project, and while advance registration is not mandatory, it will be appreciated. The function is being organized by Wanderlust Tours, and the equipment needed for the task will be supplied.
The volunteers for the activity will be removing debris and litter, and they will also work at sandblasting away any graffiti. Each attendee will be issued a headlamp and helmet, and a bucket along with trash Bags will be provided. Anyone who would like to bring along a brown bag lunch and snacks is welcome to do so.
Everyone who comes out for the morning is asked to wear closed-toed shoes or boots, and to dress in layers. Water bottles are also recommended, and every adult will receive a brew from the Crux Fermentation Project. Offering small Promotional Products to helpers on a day like this may be an easy way to thank them for their support.
