Rooted for Women will hold the “Own it, Woman!” Workshop next month for any female entrepreneurs looking for some tips on how to start or maintain a newsletter for their business.
Rooted for Women is an organization created for women by women and provides a small business support network for women entrepreneurs. The network offers a welcoming, learning-focused environment encouraging growth and collaboration in both the business and personal realms. Leaders in the network offer tools and guidance to quell any anxieties about how to take one’s business to the next level, and ensure a platform for open communication.
The newsletter workshop will be led by a newsletter and email expert, who will introduce the steps it takes to start a newsletter and maintain it. Topics to be discussed include what constitutes good newsletter formatting, how to create an effective blog, and how to grow one’s email list. This workshop is designed to help those who already have a newsletter, as well as those who have not yet initiated the process.
Newsletters can be an effective form of online advertising and may include graphic design elements to make the newsletter more visually appealing to readers.
The newsletter workshop is scheduled for November 16 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. It will take place at Elevate Westerville, which is located at 670 Meridian Way. Tickets for the workshop will cost $35.
