This September, Central Ohio Primary Care will hold the Run for the Health of It 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk to encourage the whole community of Westerville to make healthier choices and follow more active lifestyles.
Central Ohio Primary Care is a physician-owned and led organization that places patients at the forefront of its considerations. Clinical staff, practice providers, and administrative staff work together in a collaborative environment to treat patients in a compassionate, innovative, and effective manner. The organization has been holding the Run for the Health of It for the past 15 years and has raised over $1m for local charities from the proceeds.
Proceeds raised from this year's event will go towards local initiatives that support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of underserved populations living in Central Ohio. The run will consist of both a 5K run and a one-mile fun run/walk at the Westerville Sports Complex, which features miles of biking and running/walking trails.
Organizers may choose to advertise charity runs like this by manner of flyer distribution, and as such, they may decide to invest their money in local Print shops offering flyer printing services for large events.
The Run for the Health of It is scheduled for Monday, September 7, beginning at 8:00 am. The Westerville Sports Complex is located at 325 North Cleveland Avenue.
