Westerville to host MLK breakfast celebration

This January, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, the Westerville Chamber of Commerce will host the 2026 Westerville MLK Breakfast Celebration.

The Westerville Chamber of Commerce has been working for the betterment of the community and local businesses of Westerville for over 55 years. Comprising over 770 members representing local businesses and community interests, the chamber’s mission is to improve the community’s quality of life and promote the cultural, civic, and economic development of the Westerville area.

The MLK Breakfast Celebration will revolve around the 2026 theme of Hope Through Action. The invited panelists will discuss how individuals, groups, and businesses can make a difference in their communities through advocacy, civic engagement, direct service, and community organizing. The lineup features Jen Miller of the League of Women Voters of Ohio, Floyd Atkins of Otterbein University, and Jeremy Hollon of Community Refugee and Immigration Services. Organizations and individuals who have exhibited direct service to the community will also be honored.

Celebratory breakfast events may often have assigned seating, with printed placards placed at specific tables. Local Print shops can help organizers pick the right design for such placards, as well as offer bulk printing services.

The MLK Breakfast is scheduled for Monday, January 19, beginning at 8:30 am. It will be held at Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris, located at 409 Altair Parkway, Westerville.
