Westerville will host the 2026 Uptown Cookie Walk this March to highlight local shops and businesses while also offering sweet treats to customers participating in the tour.
Uptown is the bustling historic business section of Westerville and home to a multitude of vibrant shops, cafes, restaurants, and other local businesses. It was revitalized and unified thanks to Uptown Westerville, Inc. (UWI), a nonprofit, private-public partnership of Uptown residents, property owners, merchants, and major institutions. The nonprofit is intended to foster deeper collaboration and community support for the Uptown area.
The annual Cookie Walk is one such effort intended to put a spotlight on the businesses that call Uptown home. The event will invite residents to take a trek through the historic downtown and explore 25 participating businesses. Each location will offer a gourmet cookie or chocolate treat to visitors. A special Uptown Cookie Walk shopping bag will also be given to shoppers to keep their goodies in as they walk.
Local businesses interested in indicating their participation in community tours like this may decide to hang up Banners in their entrances. Local Print shops offering banner printing can lend their services to businesses wishing to do this.
The Uptown Cookie Walk is scheduled for March 7 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Uptown Westerville District is located at 21 South State Street, Westerville.
