This October, the 5th Annual Cere-bration Walk, Roll, Run will be held in Westerville to raise money for the Brain Injury Association of Ohio (BIAOH) and its programs.
The BIAOH is a statewide education and advocacy organization that works towards better services and support systems for Ohio people with brain injuries and their families, while also advocating for research, program development, and legislation. The organization hosts several runs in different cities throughout the year to raise money and awareness, with Westerville’s event being held next month.
The event will feature a 5K accessible route as well as a one-mile fun run/walk and a kids dash so that people of all ages and abilities can have a chance to participate. There will also be a raffle after the run/walk, with the opportunity to win fun prizes. Community organizations will have booths set up, and there will be multiple food options as well.
Community event raffles can provide an ideal opportunity for local businesses to get involved with their communities by donating Promotional Products in exchange for free advertising.
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 11. Check-in is at 8:30 am, while the actual run gets started at 9:00 am. It will be held at the Westerville Sports Complex, located at 325 North Cleveland Avenue.
