To ring in the New Year, Westerville will hold the OhioHealth First on the First 5K event for those interested in jumpstarting healthy living habits in 2025.
The organizer of the run, M3S Sports, has been an active participant in hosting health-forward activities in Ohio communities across the state. The flagship event of the organization is the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon of which attendance has grown exponentially throughout the years. M3S Sports partners with charities and community organizations to provide numerous events like the half marathon and the OhioHealth 5K.
The 5K will be a walk/run suitable for a range of ages and abilities. The hosting area will be the Otterbein University, with the start and finish line near the Clements Center. Participants will receive access to the Post-Race Party with sponsored and catered by Yabo's Tacos, as well as race swag such as an official technical event shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib, and race photos.
