This Labor Day weekend, the Westerville Donut Walk and Run will take place for anyone looking to celebrate the holiday with a bit of dashing and donut-eating, plus family-friendly activities.
The Donut Walk and Run will feature several course options to choose from, including a Kids Donut Dash, a 1-mile walk, a 5K run/walk, and a 10K run. The event is family-friendly, so organizers encourage bringing the whole family to participate as there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The young kids will be able to participate in a free Kids Donut Dash, even receiving their free donut and run swag during registration. All other participants will receive a free donut after their respective races during the afterparty.
The routes will take runners/walkers through downtown Westerville and through Alum Creek Park North. After the races, there will be fruit, snacks, and other refreshments waiting. There will also be a 25-foot-tall inflatable donut to take a photo op at.
All 1-mile, 5K, and 10K participants will receive a finisher medal, finish line photos, instant race results, custom race bib, and ring-spun shirt with the event Logo Design on it.
The Westerville Donut Walk and Run is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 30, beginning at 9:00 am. Alum Creek Park North is located at 221 West Main Street.
