The Westerville Public Library will host the Wizards & Wands Festival next month to bring the magic Books to life, as well as to educate the public about science and nature.
Drawing on the philosophy that libraries inspire magic in people through storytelling and education, the Westerville Public Library often hosts events to bring out the magic in everyday life. The Wizards & Wands Festival will feature spellbinding entertainment and activities relating to beloved fantasy fandoms.
The festival will feature events such as the Birds of Prey show, which will teach the public about birds such as barn owls and red-tailed hawks, as well as delve into conservation issues and falconry. There will also Bewitching Laughs, a juggling and physical comedy act by Matt Jergens, and Mystical Science, a highly interactive science experiment show. The Enchanting Improv event will showcase improvised comedy sketches, and the evening will end with Wolves: Fact vs. Myth, where a wolf ambassador will discuss the behavior and ecology of wolves while also dispelling myths surrounding them.
Organizers of events like this often utilize flyer printing services in the community to Print a large quantity of Flyers to distribute.
The magical festival is scheduled for October 28 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Westerville Public Library is located on 126 S State Street. Admission is free, and costumes are welcomed.
