Next month, the Westerville Kidsfest and Back-to-School Bash will be held to celebrate the return of the school year with fun, games, and free school supplies.
The festival is organized by KidsLinked Events and presented by State Farm Insurance Agent Jake Breakey. The Kidsfest will be celebrating its 12th year of bringing families and young students together to enjoy the last few weeks of summer vacation and gear up for the upcoming academic year. The bash will feature a whole range of activities for children to enjoy, including games, fun zones, character meet-and-greets, rides, and snacks.
Fun areas include the bounce park, tunnel and fort zone, and bubble zone. The games section will feature carnival games such as the duck matching game and lucky coin game. Character visits include Stitch from “Lilo and Stitch,” and special princess characters. There will also be a petting zoo with pony rides, a magician performance, face painting, balloon art, and a hula hooping and limbo contest.
Festive outdoor events like this can encompass a venue decorated with sprawling Banners detailing the reason for the event. Organizers can get these printed at various local Print shops that specialize in banner printing.
The Kidsfest will take place on Thursday, July 17 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at Westerville North High School, which is at 950 County Line Road.
