Next month, Sonna Brado of Serious Beauty will hold the Divide and Conquer: Short Hair Made Simple workshop to teach Westerville beauty professionals a new way to cut short hair easily.
Sonna Brado is a beauty stylist and founder of Serious Beauty, a beauty education school that provides engaging, hands-on training to bring out the best in every stylist. Serious Beauty follows the teach-to-transfer approach to education that hones the skills and knowledge of each individual stylist through a series of progressive steps. The Serious Beauty Academy offers both in-person and online classes to fit each student’s needs.
The Divide and Conquer workshop will be a one-day, in-person class devoted to cutting short hair in an easy and effective way. The class will utilize hair fabric and pattern pieces to create individualized cuts. The pattern pieces will be explained in detail and will reference face shape, skull shape, and the three main Forms of cutting. Stylists of all levels are encouraged to attend.

The hair class is scheduled for June 12 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. It will take place at Afton Blu Salon at 5334 Warner Road. The hands-on workshop is $550.
