This December, KidsLinked and State Farm agent Jake Breakey will present the 4th Annual Westerville Winterfest & Carnival for the community to enjoy some special holiday activities.
The festival will be filled with a multitude of activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will be a bounce park, carnival games, holiday hayrides, and a special visit from Santa for the kids to participate in. There will also be arts and crafts activities such as Christmas ornament making and a holiday coloring contest. A balloon artist will be walking around creating balloon animals, and there will be a magician performing on stage throughout the day. Other entertainment and holiday activities include laser tag, the world-famous dog show, and the Run the Lights 3-mile Run.
The event will also offer plenty of food and beverage options for hungry festivalgoers. Food will include hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, nachos, and more. The first 200 attendees will even receive a free treat courtesy of Tim Hortons. Festivals like this can be a good opportunity for local businesses to advertise to the community using methods such as flyer printing and distribution.
The Westerville festival is scheduled for December 10 from 11:30am to 3:30pm. It will take place at the Clements Recreation Center, which is located at 180 Center Street. Admission is free, although some activities and food will be for additional purchase.
