Exceptional Innovation, Inc., will renovate its existing Westerville facility and change it into the company's Technology Headquarters.
The company is making a $1.4m investment in the project, and will also beef up its workforce. Exceptional Innovation works with the hospitality industry, providing software platforms and interactive television hardware.
Seale Moorer, the company's chairman and CEO, paid tribute to Westerville, saying local resources have been critical to the company's growth and success. He went on to add that Westerville and the region around Columbus boasts some of the best professional and technical talent Exceptional Innovation needs to expand its U.S. business, which in turn can then support hoteliers all over the world.
Westerville's economic development administrator, Jason Bechtold, said the organization is an example of the kind of entrepreneurial spirit typical of the city, and he is delighted Exceptional Innovation will be establishing their technological headquarters in Westerville.
The company's offices on Olde Worthington Road will be renovated, and new positions will include a variety of executive, operations, and administrative jobs. There will also be positions opening for hardware engineers, quality assurance analysts, and software developers. Exceptional Innovation will begin hiring in January, 2016.
In order to attract the best talent, Exceptional Innovation might create Brochures that describe their needs in detail, and make them available to recruiters and employment agencies in the area.
