Westerville dog lovers should note that Pet People New Albany will hold the 3rd annual Hoppin' Hound Hunt next month to provide a fun Easter-themed activity for the local dogs.
Pet People New Albany will host the event in conjunction with Rocky Fork Metro Park to raise money for RESCUEDohio, a non-profit organization that rescues, fosters, and finds forever homes for stray or abandoned dogs in the area. All proceeds raised from the event will go towards supporting the operations of this organization.
The Hoppin’ Hound Hunt will be an Easter egg hunt specially designed for dogs to enjoy. Leashed dogs will have the chance to find eggs containing dog-friendly treats and special prizes. Organizers recommend that pet owners bring their own baskets for collecting the eggs. There will also be pet-friendly vendors and a photo booth for pets to take fun pictures in. After the egg hunt, there will be a dog costume contest with prizes being awarded for first and second place.
