Next month, Heritage Ohio will hold the Community Collaborations for Downtown Transformations Conference in Westerville to discuss the way private and public entities can work together to transform downtown.
Heritage Ohio is a not-for-profit organization that helps Ohioans revitalize their towns, cities, and communities by offering the proper tools and assistance. Through grassroots efforts, the organization helps cities build back historic neighborhoods and transform declining downtowns into thriving, vibrant spaces.
The conference in June will explore how city design, public-private partnerships, and special events transform downtown Westerville. Topics will include historic preservation, liquor permits and liquor licensing, and a panel discussion on the great places in Ohio. Attendees will also discuss the value of Google reviews and how to interact with patrons. The event will wrap up with a networking session where individuals working in the revitalization and preservation fields can mix and mingle with each other.
Conferences can benefit from providing a schedule of activities in the form of Brochures that can be handed out to attendees. These can be printed by organizers visiting area Print shops.
The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held at The Old Bag of Nails Pub located at 24 North State Street #26. Tickets are $25 for Heritage Ohio members and $50 for non-members.
