Polo for pooches in Westerville

An unusual event is scheduled for Westerville.

Polo Play has scheduled a polo game to raise funds to help RESCUEDohio, a group in central Ohio that works to rescue and find homes for abandoned dogs, as well as advocating for rights for all animals.

Everyone in the family is invited to come and watch the polo match, which will be held at the Los Gemelos Polo Field on Harlem Road. There will not be any seats provided, so attendees are reminded to bring blankets, chairs, or anything they will be comfortable sitting on. People can bring in food and drink but are also asked to make sure a family atmosphere is maintained. Brochure printing can be used to provide programs for events like this.

Those who would prefer to have a snack, and contribute even more to RESCUEDohio, may purchase one of Cheese & Spoon’s grazing Boxes. Organizers suggest these be ordered ahead of time and picked up at the gate, as quantities available at the game are likely to be limited. There are both meat and vegan Boxes available, containing items such as crackers, cheeses, nuts, and sweets.

Admission is sold by vehicle. Those who would like a VIP spot should buy tickets online before the event. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and both credit cards and cash will be accepted. The game is set for June 18 at 6.00 pm, with the gate opening an hour earlier.
