An excursion has been planned for birders from Middleburg Heights, and it will give those who come out an opportunity to learn more about the waterfowl and other wildlife that share their community.
Rich Kassouf and Nancy Howell will be leading the Audubon Spring Bird Walk, which will follow the trails around Lake Isaac, and Western Cuyahoga Audubon will also be joining in. The walkers will have an opportunity to observe birds in a variety of habitats, including forest, lake, riparian and meadow, and the organizers noted that many species may be observed.
The guides for the excursion will be able to point out species, and will provide more information about the different birds that are seen. Those who come out are reminded to bring along their binoculars and cameras, and to wear footwear and other clothing that is suitable for the occasion. They can also take a water bottle or other drink for the walk. Flyers that promote an educational event like this can be designed and printed by an area printing company.
The Lake Isaac Waterfowl Sanctuary will be the location for this opportunity for Middleburg Heights nature lovers to observe birds and other wild creatures right in their local area. The group will be gathering in the sanctuary’s parking lot on the morning of April 29, and the walkers are scheduled to set out at 7:30 AM.
