The initiative will provide each household that participates with a free rain barrel, as well as information about how they are assembled, installed and the benefits they provide. The activity will include both a presentation and hands-on components, and it is open to anyone who lives in areas serviced by NEORSD and the Cleveland Division of Water.
The workshop will provide the attendees with information about how using a rain barrel can help to divert storm water runoff from the local watershed, and they will then learn how to put their own together so that they can put it to use as soon as possible.
