Middleburg Heights crafters may want to clear their diaries for an opportunity to join with others who share their love of working with a needle and embroidery thread or floss.
A two-day retreat for needlecrafters has been organized by Pins and Needles, which is a local sewing shop. It will be an in-person gathering, and the hostess for the function will be Kellie Rushing.
Participants in the activity will be able to work on a variety of projects in a fun and supportive atmosphere, and new Oklahoma Embroidery Supply and Design (OESD) designs will be introduced. Project kits will be available, and door prize draws and other giveaways will add even more excitement to the weekend. There will be products available for purchase at a discounted price, and everyone will go home with a goody bag stuffed with more than $200 in embroidery-related Promotional Products and other items.
The registration fee for this crafty weekend is $179, and this includes lunch as well as the project and goodie Bags. Project instructions, class CDs, and other handouts for this type of occasion may be sourced from a printing services company.
The OESD Sew Happy Two-Day Retreat will welcome local needlecrafters on September 17 and 18, with both days scheduled to run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The venue is at 7300 Pearl Road.
