Middleburg Heights residents who attend an event that has been planned in support of two local cat rescue organizations will be offered an opportunity to have an evening of fun while helping their feline friends in need.
This will be the fourth year for the ‘Cinco de Meow’ fundraiser, and it has been organized through the cooperative efforts of Tails From the City and Lucky Paws. It is scheduled to run for four hours, and will be filled with activities and lots of laughter.
For a ticket price of $30, the guests will be treated to giveaways as well as raffles and other prize draws. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the food for the occasion will have a Mexican flair, and a make-your-own vegan taco bar will allow the attendees to build a taco to their own personal taste. The admission price also includes the bearer’s choice of two domestic beers or a specialty margarita, and the designated drivers in the crowd or anyone else who would prefer not to drink can exchange their drink tickets for ones that can be used in the raffle.
To help maximize the funds raised for the cats, T-Shirts with a special graphic design will be on offer. The monies raised will be used to help care for more than 800 felines by providing them with food, shelter, and medical care.
